The 11 Games For 11 Months Project!

"Have you ever had a story in your head and you just wanted to see how it would look in a game?"

In 2021,  I wanted to get back into working on consistent projects. I had done smaller projects, but had lacked the motivation to work on any big game project. I often make games with simplistic stories, but sometimes go in over my head when making the game. Then, one night in January I realized something: What if I did a bunch of small projects, stories I constantly made in my head, and put them together? 

Thus, this silly, somewhat unoriginal, tiring project began. Starting on February 2021, I had from the beginning of the month till 11:59 PM before the next month to finish the project I was working on.  And then do the same thing from March all the way to December.  Now that its 2022, I want to share this project. I do want to say this though:

• All of these games are bad.
• Some of these games have bugs I couldn't finish in time.
• Some of these games have their own original stories (more content than others).
• Some of these games are extremely short.
• But no matter what, I love all of them through the hard times and good times making them.
• What's in these games shows all of those story ideas I have in my head, ones I know I may never have time to fully develop in the time we have now. 
• This project is special to me. So I hope that you enjoy them all.

I plan to release the games as I go into the rest of 2022. I will continually update the page with each new game. The first 3 games (February, March and April) will be available, while (May, June, July) will be available later on (and so on and so forth). Release status is "In development" but the content is fully complete, and will be changed once all the games are completed.

All credit and content warnings will be given for each game unless otherwise stated.

1. February: Weird, Bizarre Love Story

Two old childhood friends awkward teenagers meet each other after school after being a part of a few years and find out they are interested in one another. They start to date but begin to question whether or not they are truly being interesting and worried about being “plain and basic” with their relationship. At the same time, some weird bizarre stuff starts happening. Mainly during their first date.
This project is a simple excerpt of what it would be.

2. March: There are no Coincidences 

A group of adventurers take refuge at a Inn after being attacked by the Dark Disciples, an enemy they are facing. However, Clara believes that something is suspicious about the Inn, and decides to investigate. Investigate the Inn with the D20. Let's hope you roll high and succeed in what you find...

3. April: School of Bones

A few students are camping outside. They decide to play with urban legend that says if you mess around with it, a skeleton will appear and tear your skin off. After doing a small game, they go to sleep and wake up in a random building, being told to play a "game..."

4. May: Monkey Catching Simulator!

Play as a triangle named Kiso, who decides to help Mr. Sir save his dog by catching monkeys.

5. June: We Say Random Words

"We Say Random Words" is a small and extremely short Yume Nikki fangame made for Dream Diary Jam 5. Collect 4 effects! Download it here or on its gamepage! (Its the same game, no difference where you choose to download from)

6. July: The Determined Ones

Tuff wakes up in a mysterious place with all of his friends. Upon exploration they learn they are in a death game, the Underdog Game, mastermind by their own friend. Can Tuff and his companions survive these trials? Or will they suffer as they're forced to kill each other?

7. August: One thing at a Time

A really short game where you do one thing at a time. It's mainly a vent project where I somewhat half-talk about big issues changing in life. Has a secret ending if you choose to search for it, otherwise, take time for yourself.

8. September: Disarray and the Pretenders

Nets Ivy is a transfer student who is going to a new school. She gets invited by some of her classmates to go to a restricted zone. Against her better judgement she heads inside to (not) surprisingly find her classmates, but a gentleman by the name of Zeon Oparo. The two are now stuck in the restricted area, hiding out from the monsters that lurk inside.

9. October: The Smallest House (Remake)

While visiting his Aunt and his niece with his family, Max decides to go out on a walk. He goes to a small house that's located in the forest, supposedly, the smallest house in the world. But a simple trip suddenly turns into a huge nightmare. As some say, a house can always have something big awaiting inside... I'm waiting. Come join me.

This game is a remake I had made (the original was unpublished from years ago)! This was made for the RPG Horror Celebration Jam #2!

10. November: ROLE:SWITCHED

Crim is invited to his friend Var's (A rich/wealthy individual) establishment unbeknownst that Crim plans to kill Var. Strangely enough, someone else had the idea to kill before he does, and now Crim throws himself into the detective role to cover his tracks.

11. December: Winter Demon Hunting Service!

A trio of high schoolers get a call to go to investigate demons lurking around the house. Fight off various demonic entities in a turn-based combat format while taking out the demons 1-by-1 and learning how they came to enter the house!
